Gems of Joy!

Yesterday I had my first Halle Joy Trunk Show. It turned out good. Around 10-15 people showed up. We had sweet potato cupcakes, cookies, chips, pretz, and reeces butter cups and fruit as snacks, and the simple water and tea for drinks. Kelly said "keep your food simple because you want your guest to pay attention to the company and products than on the food."
Kelly did a fantastic job demonstrating Halle Joy to my friends and famiy and all of them went to the table to try on the jewelry and handbags.
We got a good number on purchases, which helps me to get my starter kit ($200 value) but my mother-in-law is going to host a show to help me get the rest of my funding :) I'm looking forward to the future shows that I get to attend or host. I know this company will spread like wild fire. Joy is contagious, everyone wants it and needs it in their lives.

The weather here in DFW Texas has been beautiful, but its coming to an end real soon :( I'm ready for Spring.
Yesterday I went to Kelly's, my mentor, mom's house for her trunk show. Unfortunately no one couldn't make it, but we still had a great time. She gave me more information that I needed and did a demo for me, which was awesome! She has almost EVERY product that Halle Joy makes. Her display was beautiful. I can't wait till February 13th. I hope you can make it!!!

I was driving to Arlington Highlands, in Arlington, TX and I was listening to my favorite radio station, 94.9 KLTY. They were broadcasting an opportunity for stay at home moms. Where you can work part-time or full-time by setting your own hours and managing your business. I've always wanted to work at home since I got pregnant with Leah, but never found much luck. The only WAHM jobs I found so far required to go to school and pay a good sum of money for training. I was excited to hear about this opportunit and deicded to email Steve, one of the founders of Halle Joy, and told him I was interested.
That following Monday I went to his office and he gave me a tour of Halle Joy and I was so amazed of what Halle Joy is, but I left undecided to join. I wanted to pray about it first to see if this is the opportunity God wants me to take.

A couple of weeks later, Kelly, an Halle Joy abassador, called me and asked me if I was still interested of joining the Halle Joy team. I told her I was but had tons of questions to ask and still undecided if I should joined, so we decided to join each other coffee the following day to discuss what we can do.
It was great! Kelly gave me so information on what to do and she told me her testimony of joining Halle Joy and what it has been doing for her and her family. So I decided to give this company a chance. I left feeling excited and encouraged. I hope God brings me a lot of people to encourage me, to help kick start my business and to succeed in it. Halle Joy is a wonderful company filled with wonderful people doing what we are designed to do, I am blessed to be a part of this awesome team and company!

Thank you Kelly for your help, encouragement and for lunch! I'm looking forward to my first Trunk Show this coming weekend so I can prepare for my first Trunk Show next month!

Sharing life and joy to others so they can share it to the world,
